Cooking Instructions
1. Dice the onion and cut the leak on circles. Saute them on medium heat , in 28 cm skillet Saute for 10- 15 min.
2. Prepare the cabbage leaves, one by one. If the leaves are very big, cut them on half.
3. When onion and leak are soft and little bit brown add 1 tbs of sweet paprika flakes and 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Saute for 1 min and add the ground meat.
4. Saute and break any meat lumps. When there is no liquid any more add salt, ground sweet paprika and black pepper.
Add 1 cup of washed white rice snd saute for 3 min on lower heat.
5 In every cabbage leaf put 1- 1,5 tbs of the meat- rice mixture and roll the cabbage leaf with sides folded inside.
Pack them one next to each other in circle.
Cover the rolls above with cabbage leafs Cover them with plate.
Pour 3 glasses of water and put the pot on high medium heat util the water starts to boil.
Lower the heat to medium low. Cook for 120 min.
Optionally at the end put the pot without zhe lid and without the plate in oven for 15 min.
